The Servant Leadership Series is a collection of seven interactive workshops that will help you grow in your capacity to serve and resource others. The workshops draw upon biblical foundations, current theory, case studies, and personal assessments to strengthen your development as a leader.

Nearly 100 people gathered together to soak in 8 workshops over two days. Descriptions of each workshop can be viewed here.

Ten churches participated in a day of small group ministry training where MinistryLift delivered five customized workshops. Descriptions of each workshop can be viewed here.

In this workshop, we will look at ways that your church can design discipleship pathways that will help people take next steps in their spiritual journey. We will look at a number of models and discuss ways that your church can strengthen its disciple-making approach.

The Hemorrhaging Faith study looked at why Canadian young adults who grew up in the church either stayed or left the church. The results of the study paint a picture of what families and churches need to do (and not do) as they seek to disciple children and youth.

In this workshop, you will learn how to use the Leader Breakthru COACH Model to turn any conversation into a disciple-making opportunity. We will also look at ways to make mentoring/coaching a key discipleship pathway in your church. Please note: the Leader Breakthru COACH Model is based on Keith Webb’s book, The COACH Model for Christian Leaders.

Healthy small groups are an excellent place for making disciples. But how can church leaders foster a church culture that supports a dynamic and growing small group ministry? What are strategies that small group leaders can use to grow their small groups? What are some of the skills - like asking excellent questions and maximizing differences of opinion - that small group leaders need to help people in their groups take next steps? In this workshop, we will seek to answer these questions as a way of helping churches and small group leaders take their small group ministry to the next level.
